本次讲座特别邀请到了国际顶尖摄影师程宫老师作为主讲嘉宾。他曾亲历拍摄奥运会、F1大奖赛、FIFA世界杯等全球顶级赛事，也是多项国际摄影展的评委及艺术组织负责人。现任中国摄影家协会新媒体委员会委员，曾作为北京奥组委官方摄影师，在国际摄影领域拥有深厚影响力。

在讲座中，程宫老师不仅分享了自己在大型赛事中的拍摄经验，也详细讲解了科学摄影竞赛的评审标准、作品创意构思、技术细节与表达方式。他用生动的案例让同学们理解，科学摄影并不是单纯记录，而是通过镜头去表达科学现象的美感与逻辑。

讲座最后，程宫老师也鼓励大家大胆探索跨学科的创作领域，无论是在科学、工程，还是艺术的领域，只要有好奇心和思考力，都能在摄影中找到独特表达的空间。

Irvine, California — On the weekend of April 27, Spectrum Education hosted a special workshop titled "Scientific Photography: Competition Strategies and Creative Expression."

The event featured internationally acclaimed photographer Mr. Cheng Gong as the keynote speaker. Mr. Gong has covered some of the world’s most prestigious events, including the Olympic Games, the F1 Grand Prix, and the FIFA World Cup. He also serves as a member of the New Media Committee of the China Photographers Association. He was a delegate at the 9th National Congress of the Association and worked as an official photographer for the Beijing Olympics. With decades of experience, he holds a distinguished place in the international photography community.

During the workshop, Mr. Gong shared both personal experiences from photographing major global events and practical insights into scientific photography. By offering students and audiences a detailed breakdown of photography competition judging criteria, concept development, he shared how to present creative storytelling through photos.

Through vivid examples, Mr. Gong emphasized that scientific photography is not merely about documentation, but about capturing the beauty, structure, and logic behind scientific phenomena, turning complex ideas into powerful visual narratives.

Toward the end of the lecture, Mr. Gong encouraged students to embrace interdisciplinary creativity and shared that whether their passions lie in science, engineering, or the arts, curiosity and critical thinking can always unlock new ways of visual expression through the camera lens.
